I can’t believe how close to Christmas we are getting! And after that the new year. So I set aside some time to get my 2012 weekly planner finished. I have gotten a ton of emails asking if I was bringing it back this year, so hopefully if you asked you are checking back to see if it’s been released.
The 2012 planner is the same as last year except – due to some great feedback – I updated the place that used to be the “shopping list” to just say “List” and below there are no categories. The “list” can be changed to say whatever you want, and when you change it once it will change for the entire year. The boxes below are still separated but with no headers and are editable but will change interdependently and not as a group or throughout the year. This should make it much easier to use this space in a custom way.

Here is a close-up of how the pages work. Each of the daily and weekly chores are editable. The Daily chores will populate throughout the year. So if you don’t like to exercise (who does??) then you can change that to say “take a shower” etc. and it will change to “take a shower” on every single week. The weekly chores are independent though, so you can add and change week by week, but not for the entire year. I believe that you can do a find & replace though that would change something like “clean garage” to “clean gutters” if you don’t have a garage, and really like cleaning your gutters.

The planner is 25% off this weekend only (Saturday & Sunday) December 17 & 18th 2011. The rest of my digital shop is 25% off as well as one free digital kit and three dollar kits (prices marked are sale prices).
Have a great holiday season!

Just a quick free download of my Birthday Calendar. This was in the 2010 version of my planner, but not in the 2011 version, so I thought I’d share it. I added editable forms to this printable PDF, so you should be able to type in your birthdays, save, and update later… and of course print as often as you like. Enjoy!

So I finally found the time to print my own weekly planner as well as get it spiral bound. There are lots of ways you can have this printed and bound. This is how I made mine. It took about 30 minutes to print and I just walked over to the local copy store to get it bound. So all in all it was pretty fast and easy.
I set my personal printer to print. This took about 30 minutes. I printed all my sheets single-sided because I wanted the opposite side of paper to be blank for notes and doodles. You could also glue a photo onto the opposite page for a photo-a-week project in 2010.

You could also print on both sides for all the weekly pages to save on paper.
I printed all my chore sheets single-sided as well because I wanted to trim them down to just each week.

Before Getting the book bound. I trimmed out all the chore sheets and taped each week onto the opposing page with that weekly schedule. Then after the book was spiral bound, I removed the tape. You could also just place a sheet at the beginning of a month or all together at the beginning of the planner. Whatever works easiest for you. I’d love to see how you’ve printed your planner. If you have pictures on your blog please post a link so I can go check them out!

I can’t wait to come out with a 2011 version with lots of new updates and tweeks, especially as I use mine this year, I’m sure I’ll have lots of changes! If you’re interested in purchasing the PDF file to print your own planner, visit my shop at Design House Digital

Here is a menu planning form that I use when I’m planning out my menu for the week. The top half has a weekly calender with space for Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner Menus. It also has space at the bottom to list all the ingredients that you need to get at the store. A pretty simple and straightforward menu planner that also looks great on your fridge or magnet board!

Download this file and enjoy (for personal use only). Please tell your friends to come visit the site and download their own file. I would love a comment if you do download!
I also have a slightly different version of the form that does not have the meals for each day broken up.

Each of these files are a 8.5″x11″ PDF. Use Acrobat Reader to open the file and print as many as you like! Happy Menu Planning!!
