Well hello there! My name is Angie Hinksman and it’s my turn to share some crafty goodness here at The Project Girl’s Blog. Thank you so much Jen for having me ! For my first post I thought I’d share with you my ideas for creating a simple way of keeping track of those discount coupons and vouchers. I’ll show you how to make a two printable Coupon Organizers.
There are two ways you can create these Coupon Organizers. If you have either photoshop or photoshop elements and are experienced with working with layered templates, I have included layered psd files that you can use to clip your digi-papers into and print out. I have also included pdf versions that you can use as templates for your traditional scrapbooking papers; either by printing them onto white card and then using as traditional templates or you can print these straight onto your scrapbooking paper. You can download these templates here.
You will need the following supplies:
- Your printed Coupon Organizer Documents, printed onto white card – The larger organizer; 1 center/main part and 2 accordion sides. For the small organizer, just one all-in-one document. I’ve used Jen’s Nostalgia 2 papers, available at Design House Digital.
- For the large Organizer, 1 piece of 12×12 inch card stock (for the dividers and lining)
- For the small organizer 1 piece of card stock (I’ve used 1 piece of A4 white cardstock)
- Glue or double sided sticky tape
- Velcro or magnetic tape (to keep your organizers closed)
- Scissors, Craft knife or rotary cutter
- Rolling pin to help your glue stick good and tight!
- Embossing tool, Ruler or Blunt butter Knife (to score folded edges)

I have set up the psd files so that you can easily ‘clip’ your digi-paper straight into the. Once you have prepared your digi prints you can just print the finished documents onto white cardstock. Alternatively you can print the pdf versions onto traditional scrapbook paper by first trimming your paper to fit a standard A4 sized page.
Now you are ready to assemble your Coupon Organizer. First, cut out all of your pieces. Using the center, patterned piece as a guide, cut out another center piece from your cardstock. This will be the lining of your organizer. Cut the remaining card stock into 3 6 x 3 ¼ inch pieces. These will be the ‘dividers’.

Next fold the ‘accordion sides’ as illustrated in the images below. I’ve included a ‘Black & White’ version to help illustrate this.

Next, glue the sides of 2 accordion pieces to the sides of the main piece as shown below. Leave this to dry and then glue the lining to the other side.

Once the whole thing is completely dry (I’d give it an hour or so), fold up your organizer as shown and add the either your Velcro or magnetic tape, as shown. Finally add your dividers. You can secure the sides with a little glue at the accordion edges if you like but it’s really not necessary!

The smaller organizer is even quicker. Simply printout the all-in-on sheet, assemble in a similar way to the large organizer (folding at the dotted lines). Cut out 3 5×2 ¾ inch rectangles from your white cardstock. No need to line this one just fold, glue, insert your dividers and your good to go!

And there you have two easy ways to keep track of those oh-so-useful vouchers and coupons!
Have a great day !

Well I’m about as proud as a new mom (I’ll know how that *really* is in about 8 weeks) because my new paper scrapbooking line from My Mind’s Eye is about the be released at CHA-W! I absolutely love this line and it’s rich colors, vintage patterns, and old-world feel. The line has lots of different items in it including layered chipboard, stamps, epoxy brads, layered stickers, buttons, trinkets, and gorgeous trims!
My Mind’s Eye has announced TWO of the FOUR collections on their BLOG along with a giveaway for both of these collections on Jan 19th. So get over there and comment so you can see these gorgeous items in person! Here are some quick images that I put together so you can see how cute HAZEL and MABEL are! To see ALL of the pieces check out the MME Website.
I wont be at CHA in a few weeks because I’m hugely pregnant, so I’ll miss you all! But stop by the MME booth and say hi to everyone for me.

Hello! I paper-crafted yesterday! It has been quite awhile since I’ve done anything but sit with my laptop, but it was so much fun just to play around! On Wednesday, I got a HUGE box of paper and accessories from My Mind’s Eye.
So I quickly made this cute and very FAST card using the Quite Contrary line from MME that Zoe Pearn and I designed. I cut out the little imperfect scallop border by hand and then doodled a border around it to make it look a little more finished. Then I simply added a border sticker, some sticker letters and sticker buttons (with a little twine pulled through the holes). And I finished it off with a rhinestone border from MME’s Lush Line.
Also on the inside, since the b-side of the paper was too busy to write on, I pulled a journal card from Quite Contrary and wrote on that:

Actually playing around with this line made me realize how great it is for card making. Which I’m really excited about because that is probably my favorite thing to do with paper right now! There are tons of little journal cards and accessories and most of the prints are really small and work well for layering especially when dealing with small spaces like cards. When I find a little free time in a few weeks, I’m just going to sit down and make a huge collection of cards with all this paper!!

MME will start selling it very soon and it should be in Local Scrapbooking Stores in April/May

I also have another paper line in the works right now but you’ll just have to wait a bit to see what it looks like! It’s sure to be extra feminine and frilly!
On the Digital Scrapbooking front, Design House Digital is going great! There is a great gallery promotion going right now. If you post 20 qualifying layouts in the gallery before April 9th then you get a $20 gift card. If you post 30 then you get the gift card and this exclusive kit FREE:

For those of you who are avid scrapbookers and papercrafters, you might know about CHA the semi-annual crafting trade-show. CHA is in just a few short days and I have an adorable paper line coming out by My Mind’s Eye called Quite Contrary. My good friend Zoe Pearn and I collaborated on the design of this paper line to bring you 40 fun and beautiful papers and 80 a-la-cart accessories. I wanted to show you a few of my favorite elements, but I love all the pieces so much! You can see them all at My Mind’s Eye.
Check your local scrapbook store in the next few weeks when it hits stores. Be sure to ask for it by name so that your store will know that they need to order it in if they haven’t already. I can’t wait to get my hands on it and make some fun projects as well as see all the amazing things that crafters are making with it too! I’ll be posting here from CHA with lots of updates and photos!
