My Printed Weekly Planner

January 14th, 2010 — 1:27pm

So I finally found the time to print my own weekly planner as well as get it spiral bound. There are lots of ways you can have this printed and bound. This is how I made mine. It took about 30 minutes to print and I just walked over to the local copy store to get it bound. So all in all it was pretty fast and easy.

I set my personal printer to print. This took about 30 minutes. I printed all my sheets single-sided because I wanted the opposite side of paper to be blank for notes and doodles. You could also glue a photo onto the opposite page for a photo-a-week project in 2010.

You could also print on both sides for all the weekly pages to save on paper.

I printed all my chore sheets single-sided as well because I wanted to trim them down to just each week.

Before Getting the book bound. I trimmed out all the chore sheets and taped each week onto the opposing page with that weekly schedule. Then after the book was spiral bound, I removed the tape. You could also just place a sheet at the beginning of a month or all together at the beginning of the planner. Whatever works easiest for you.  I’d love to see how you’ve printed your planner. If you have pictures on your blog please post a link so I can go check them out!

I can’t wait to come out with a 2011 version with lots of new updates and tweeks, especially as I use mine this year, I’m sure I’ll have lots of changes! If you’re interested in purchasing the PDF file to print your own planner, visit my shop at Design House Digital

Printable 2010 Weekly Planner

January 7th, 2010 — 2:29am

Picture 40

After quite a few requests for a more comprehensive planner, I created this 2010 Weekly Planner. Complete with yearly schedule of chores to keep your household organized.

DHD-Jenallyson-theprojectgirl-planner

There are 52 Week at a glance sheets that have daily chores, notes, menu, and a shopping list:

The best part of this printable PDF is the yearly chore chart:

Every day of the year is accounted for with all the chores that will keep your household organized and completely managed. Even items like backing up hard drives, filing receipts, scheduling carpet cleaning are all in there. If you can more or less stick to the schedule, your house will look amazing every single day, and you’ll wonder what to do with all your free time!

And that’s not all…the Printable PDF File also includes a Perpetual Birthday Calender so you can keep special dates organized and easy to access all year long.

This planner is a bit bigger than my normal PDFs – 67 pages! So I am selling it for $12.99 at Design House Digital.

Happy organizing!

The Project Girl In Print

January 6th, 2010 — 2:21pm

womensday2

So a few weeks ago I got an email from a random someone saying that they found my blog in Woman’s Day Magazine. I was having a really bad morning, and it made me feel almost completely better to hear that great piece of news! It took me a few days to actually get a hold of a copy of the January 2010 Woman’s Day Magazine. But it was incredibly amazing to see my blog in print and in a very cool organizational article! Hopefully lots of good things will come from it!

Goal Chart

December 29th, 2009 — 8:42pm

Picture 308

Are you ready for a whole new decade?? A whole new chance to be the person you’ve always wanted to be? I never really understood new years resolutions till a few years ago. Now I love them. I love setting goals for my life and working on making them happen. I love the promise that a whole new year brings along with it. This year I decided to help you (and me) set goals by creating a goal sheet that you could use any time — for new years resolutions or whenever you just need a little extra motivation to change something in your life.

Due to popular request, I made this PDF with “customizable fields” that you should be able to type directly into with your acrobat reader. If that doesn’t work, you can still print them out like normal and hand-write.

So what are some of your goals this decade? If it’s to get more organized, you’re in the right place! Look for more fun organizational forms soon!

Click the button to download your PDF form. This is for your personal use only. Feel free to share it on your blog, but please link back. Happy 2010!

Food Journal – Free Download

June 26th, 2009 — 4:39pm

theprojectgirl.com-foodjournalThis week my friend Kristy & I started a “boot camp” of sorts. Kristy was planning on starting a food journal and so I thought I would join in. I have read that keeping a food journal can really help with weightloss. So I put together this cute template. Its a 1 week journal with spots for 3 meals and 3 snacks — also known as 6 small meals a day. It also has a spot for counting water. I like it because its just simple and straightforward. Also with a whole week view, there is a bit of accountability for what you’ve eaten over the course of a week! Happy food journaling!

Download my food journal and enjoy (for personal use only ). Please tell your friends to come visit the site and download their own journal. I would love a comment if you do download!
