This is mostly just for tracking and notes, though you could put your plans for a week or two weeks and then check them off as you accomplish them. I’m sure you’ll figure out better ways to use this form than I ever could!

It’s just a really simple layout to get you started, and best of all, you can download the kit that I used for FREE so you can follow along. I used Photoshop Elements 8, and if you don’t have it, you can download a FREE 30-day free trial. It’s actually quite a simple and straightforward program to use, yet it has so many awesome features. You can also do this same basic thing with Photoshop.

I love setting goals for my life and working on making them happen. I love the promise that a whole new year brings along with it. This year I decided to help you (and me) set goals by creating a goal sheet that you could use any time — for new years resolutions or whenever you just need a little extra motivation to change something in your life.

Due to popular request, I made this PDF with “customizable fields” that you should be able to type directly into with your acrobat reader. If that doesn’t work, you can still print them out like normal and hand-write.

I’m not sure if everyone knows about neighbor gifts, but if you haven’t been raised with this tradition, the name describes it all… small, usually hand-crafted gifts, for all your neighbors and friends. This year for some of my neighbors, I made some super yummy thumbprint shortbread cookies with jam centers (raspberry makes it extra festive) and decided to make some adorable boxes with some of my paper stash (and yes, it’s a giant stash).

Ever since I saw this adorable Christmas paper from My Mind’s Eye, I’ve been wanting to do something cute with it. I love the bright colors, especially the pink! So I grabbed 2 sheets and the matching accessory sheet. To make the box I decided to go the easy route and cut it on my shiny new Cricut.

I created a simple box form for the Cricut to cut. I use SCAL with my cricut so I can have it cut anything I want. If you’re a SCAL user I have a free download of this simple SVG file. Also I made a DXF file which should work with Craftrobo (Silhouette, wishblade, etc). If you don’t have a cutter, there is a PDF that you can print and use as a template.

I cut one at about 11″ tall for the bottom boxand then I enlarged the file slightly to make it about 11.25″ to make the top of the box. My box came out quite large, I think It would be better even smaller, so if you can only cut 8-9″ wide, this is still a great project.

After cutting the papers I just folded the edges and glued the tabs on the outside of the box.

After folding and gluing, I found some white parchment paper and lined the box and then placed in the cookies that I had made (make sure they are cool!)

Then I placed the lid on top, tied it with some ribbon, a tag from the accessory sheet and a chipboard christmas tree, and it was ready to deliver!

Super cute, super easy, affordable,  and quick enough to mass reproduce! Have a merry Christmas & happy holiday season!

Speaking of gifts… I had been wanting to create an easy worksheet for organizing my gift giving this year. I came up with this fun form that has spots for gift ideas, recipient information, budget, and a simple checklist. You can use this for christmas & holiday giving, its perfect for neighbor gifts too! I imagine that you can even use it year round to keep track of birthday gifts for the whole year.  Have fun this holiday season and stay organized!

This post was also supposed to feature a halloween project, but my Silhouette has decided that it no longer wants to play nice. Soooo in my haste I may just have to go to the store and purchase a Cricut Expression, which I’ve been wanting anyway, but definitely not needing! What I was going to do is to cut this FREE halloween word-art that I created in vinyl and put it on my front door! So if I give into my impulse, I may have something to show you within the next few days

Anyway back to the task at hand! if you have a digital Die cutting machine – a cricut, sihlouette, wishblade etc. you can now try one of my die-cut files for free! All you have to do is click on the image and you’ll be directed to my digital shop at Two Peas in a Bucket, where you can download this file for free!  (to use with the cricut you need to have SCAL I believe, and with silhouette/wishblade your regular PC software will work.)

Things have been a little crazy in my life, I just recently moved. I’m also designing a scrapbooking line for My Mind’s Eye and that has swooped in and taken all my free time!! I’m excited to see all the fun projects that can be done with these die-cut files though! Have fun crafting!
