Metallic desktop calendar – Minc Foil

August 27th, 2015

I love how back to school is like a new beginning. I always work on organization projects in January, April, and September. Now that our mud/laundry/mail room is finished, I decided to organize my mail little desk area with this adorable Minc calendar and a pencil holder.  This little desktop calendar came in a set all ready to be foiled with my minc foil applicator and favorite colors of foil.

I also had this pencil cup from the Target dollar spot. The edges are all flat, so it was super easy to cover with some paper. I just ran the paper through the minc machine with the hot pink foil. and then traced the pencil cup on the backside and cut out the squares. Then I just taped them on using double-sided tape on the edges.

And here’s my cute new set up. Mr. Project even made me a calendar holder from a birch coaster by cutting a notch in it, perfect for displaying my shiny new calendar. theprojectgirl-minc-calendar
