The foil went on the full sheets really well. I was worried about the foil wrinkling as it went through, but with the transfer envelope, everything stayed right in place and the foil transferred over really well.
I used this super easy paper umbrella tutorial to create the umbrellas. You just need a circle template (glass, cookie cutter, etc), pen, scissors, and skewers/long toothpicks.
I cut all of my foiled papers into a circle, and then folded each 8 times, accordion folding them, and then sticking the pointy end of the skewer through, using hot glue to set them in place.
Look at how cute they all are!
And even more cute in a pineapple ice cream bowl!
To make these, I sliced the pineapple in half top to bottom. You’ll need a big sharp knife to get through the hard core and stem.
And then cut and scooped away the inside parts to hollow out the bowl. Then added sorbet and umbrellas as a garnish!
And don’t forget to enjoy eating them!
