Riley Blake Quilt Market Designer Blog Tour – Jen Allyson for My Minds Eye

November 15th, 2014

Welcome everyone who joining me as part of the Riley Blake Designer Blog Tour! The previous post wasFancy Pants Designs, and tomorrow’s post will be withZoe Pearn!

I’m Jen Allyson, I design for My Mind’s Eye, and I have this blog where I showcase all my creative projects including, crafting, sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, holiday, home decor, and home projects.

At Quilt Market, my new line, Lost & Found Love, was debuted! I still haven’t gotten my samples of the fabric, but I was able to stop by the Riley Blake offices and see these gorgeous bolts. The colors are just stunning in person, and I love how the pinks are very coral, bright, and fresh.

This lovely heart quilt was also prepped and ready for quilt market, and I just love how it turned out especially that rich red doily border. You can get this quilt for FREE on the Riley Blake Designs Blog, and over there you’ll be able to see a little bit more of this pretty line.

My inspiration for this line was old ephemera, tatting & crochet, and fancy traditional damasks. I adore how it turned out, and I love having a sweet valentine’s line of fabric.

Because Christmas is just around the corner, I want to share my Lost & Found Christmas line with you as well.

I have 5 awesome project tutorials on my blog showing off the style and diversity of this line. Click the images below to get to all the tutorials:
