Supplies:

Ad Tech Hot Temp Glue Gun (this one was perfect because of the small metal tip)

Ad Tech Glitter Glue Sticks

Ad Tech Silicone Glue Pad (nothing sticks to this sucker and it’s see-through)

Wood Veneer Snowflake ornament (Found these at my local Michaels)

The snowflakes can be used as a template for creating a full glue snowflake. You could also use any snow-flake item you have or print out a snowflake illustration. Slide your snowflake (or image) under the silicone mat.

With a glitter glue stick, simply glue directly onto the silicone pad over the snowflake using the snowflake/image as a guide. I HIGHLY recommend this hot temp glue gun. I tried this with a low temp and I just couldn’t get the flow that I needed to create details. Also this glue gun has a metal tip that you can use to manipulate the glue you’ve already put down.

I hand drew a few words too. You can also use a print-out of a font you like and place it under the pad to use as a template for any words you want.glue-gun-glitter-flakes-3

After doing the glitter snowflakes, I embellished my wood snowflakes with some of the glitter glue too. I love how they turned out!

They would be super cute on a tree, wreath, or garland.glue-gun-glitter-flakes
