For the Michaels Makers challenge this month, we were asked to create fall decor using the gorgeous Fall Market products.

I created 3 DIY projects to complete my buffet-scape and embellished them with additional Fall Market items such as pumpkins and burlap ribbon. The decoupage pumpkins I created a few years ago.

For my first project, I created this topiary using some fall burlap hydrangea flower stems and an existing topiary on clearance. See my full hydrangea topiary tutorial post for details.

I created these simple glitter letters from chipboard letters and glitter card stock.

These letters are super quick and easy. Using glitter card stock takes all the messiness out of creating glittered projects.

Supplies (contains affiliate links):

Recollections Glitter Paper (I used Gold + Black)

White-core chipboard letters

Ad-tech permanent glue runner

Scissors

Step 1: place letter with correct side down on the back of the glitter paper. Trace around the letter as tight as you can. Cut out letter shape from glitter paper as tight as you can get to the pen line.

Use Ad tech permanent glue runner on the back of the glitter letter. Make sure to get some good coverage especially around the edges.

Press the glitter letter on the chipboard letter rub where adhesive is to make sure you get enough contact.

Repeat for all the letters using the colors of glitter paper you like.

For my last project I created a simple fall chalkboard art project.  See my full chalk art tutorial post for details and a free art print.

I staged all my projects with Fall Market pumpkins, an Ashland striped burlap banner, wired burlap ribbon (that big open weave one available in the fall section) to create this gorgeous buffet-scape. I love how it turned out and It’s so fun to see my new house being decorated for the season!
