Don’t forget to grab the FREE SVG of this project, and to cut it you’ll need a Cricut Explore.

If you are in the market for one, I have a great bundle deal for you. Grab this Cricut Explore Iron-on bundle that comes with these 4 rolls of heat-transfer vinyl: Glitter Pink, Glitter Silver, Black, White. The retail value of the bundle is $355.95, and the exclusive Cricut sale price is $269.99. You basically get the vinyl for free, who can pass that up??

0001I LOVE heat-transfer vinyl, here’s the super easy school bag that I made for my preschooler using the white iron-on vinyl:

Coral, Gold, White & Mint Office Style Board

August 25th, 2014

Amidst all the other crafty projects I’ve been working on, I’ve been trying to get my office all designed up. It would be nice to have ONE room finished and inspiring in the house.  I’ve also decided the only way to keep everything straight and really feel your vision come together with interior design is to create style boards/design guides whatever you want to call them. This definitely helps me get my brain together and know how I want the pieces to all fit.

So I finally got this style guide together for my Coral, Gold, and White, with touches of mint, office:

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll already know that Mr. Project just finished my desk:

And I found this awesome console table (that I’m going to paint bright coral)

And my bench seat is all ready for cushions and pillows!

And my shelves are organized and decorated!

So now all I have to do for the final reveal is paint my cane-back chair that I found at a local consignment store:

Then get my rug (ordered), pillows and cushions sewn, and a few last minute accessories and I’ll be done! I can’t wait to share the reveal pics (and be finished with one room in the house).

What can you make with the new Cricut Explore? Apparently pretty much anything! I had a great time designing and creating this lace-cut gold leather cuff on my new Cricut. But let me back up for just a second…

I was asked to participate in the Cricut Design Space Star challenge! How fun is that?? So for the next few months, I’ll be posting projects that I design and create using my Cricut and the Cricut Design Space software (you can finally cut any svg or even jpg you want! Yay!)

So the first challenge was to create something related to Fashion or Gear, my team chose “lace” to be our team theme. I knew I wanted to do some sort of jewelry type item, and I hoped that the Explore could cut leather. So I went about and did some research about all the materials that the cricut explore can cut, and then went on youtube to see if it could actually cut those things. After watching a few videos about cutting leather on the Explore I felt pretty confident so I ordered some shiny gold leather (of course), and a deep cut blade.
