House update and Master reveal
July 7th, 2011So I posted the updated photos of our guest bathroom because that was the only remotely organized room in the house. But as of today, about half of the house is organized, so I have lots more to share. We moved on Wednesday and finished everything on our move-in list. Some major things that are not yet done are the stairs/rail stain & varnish, the master vanity, and the WHOLE kitchen. The laundry room is also in a holding pattern until next year, probably for my birthday. But other than that the house is looking amazing, and is totally completely remodeled yay! I have tons of photos, so I’m going to do a post per room for awhile to get everything up to date.
I posted before about the Master Bathroom overhaul. This was by far our biggest project, and is still waiting for a vanity. Here are some of the progression shots:
And the after:

I don’t have a bathroom shot from before, but you can imagine how awful it was… Here is the new awesome:
Louvered steam shower awesomeness!
This side is just waiting for the vanity and recessed medicine cabinets that Mr. Project is going to build. Note the faucets that will come out of the wall!:
The other door is a walk-in closet, that is full of stuff, and desperately needs shelves! When the shelves are done, then I’ll share photos

I can’t believe how many project you two keep cranking out! Looks beautiful! Does the hubs get a break any time soon?
The master bedroom looks beautiful! And I love that shower!!! Great job!
Amazing work! I am so impressed with the interior design… absolutely adore the master bathroom AND bedroom. Looks FABULOUS! Can’t wait to see the rest of the house!!!
I just love this!I love how you divided the space, the color is fab btw and can I just say I am really digging the bathroom floor. Where can a girl get her hands on flooring like that?
this is amazing!!! I love the color you’ve chosen for the walls.
fabulous job. thanks for sharing.
I’ve been looking all through your blog and can’t find if you mention what you used for your trims and casings. Please share!
baseboard is 5 x .5, casing is 3.5 x .75, header is 6×1. The actual sizes are a bit smaller, but those are the “official” sizes I guess before they sand them down.
