Adventures in Card Making – “Project Cuts”

June 30th, 2009

card2I recently released some digital kits for people with electronic die-cutting machines, ie: cricut expression, silhouette, wishblade, etc. Two of the kits are layered cards with envelopes and they are sooo adorable!

I had my silhouette cut out the “Elegant Card” out of some MME Papers (Pretty Please) and then I inked the edges, and embellished with a little ribbon and two Pretty Please die-cuts. The whole card just took a few minutes thanks to the very cool digital die-cutter files.

I love how the inside of the card shows – perfect use of double-sided papers.

up-close of the awesome envelope – again double sided papers rock:

I love these files because they are so “custom” looking. People will wonder HOW you made it.

Here are my digital die-cutter kits available for sale at Two Peas In A

All kits include the shown files in GSD, AI, JPG, & SVG Files and retail for $2 – $8.00

Amy, is your cricut an “expression” THey only work with die-cutters that plug into computers. For Cricut you have to have the SCAL software.

I use SCAL to interface with my Cricut and cut any files I want 🙂 It’s a great program and we sell a bunch of the files at DHD, though hopefully more soon!
