Menu Planning Form – Free Download
Here is a menu planning form that I use when I’m planning out my menu for the week. The top half has a weekly calender with space for Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner Menus. It also has space at the bottom to list all the ingredients that you need to get at the store. A pretty simple and straightforward menu planner that also looks great on your fridge or magnet board!

Download this file and enjoy (for personal use only). Please tell your friends to come visit the site and download their own file. I would love a comment if you do download!
I also have a slightly different version of the form that does not have the meals for each day broken up.

Download this file and enjoy (for personal use only). Please tell your friends to come visit the site and download their own file. I would love a comment if you do download!
Each of these files are a 8.5″x11″ PDF. Use Acrobat Reader to open the file and print as many as you like! Happy Menu Planning!!

January 20th, 2009 at 6:21 AM
Thanks so much!! I printed this and it now resides in my Menu Planning binder. I think it’s brilliant that you have the daily schedule PLUS the grocery list right there!! No more double listing for me!!! Thanks again!!!
January 20th, 2009 at 3:49 PM
I just recently started to meal plan and this sheet is just what I need! I love how the shopping list is on the same sheet and organized into categories. I usually just make some random list and then it’s hard to follow when I’m actually doing my grocery shopping. Kudos and keep the creativity coming!

February 19th, 2009 at 9:32 AM
I downloaded the 2nd picture for my menu planner because I do the same set-up weekly, on blank paper! Now the kids can look on the list & see if that can of pineapple they are about to open is specifically for a meal later in the week!
February 19th, 2009 at 9:44 AM
Thank you so much! This will come in handy and it scores extra points for looking great!
February 19th, 2009 at 12:13 PM
These are ADORABLE!! Thank you!
February 20th, 2009 at 12:13 PM
I’m excited to try this for the upcomming week. What I like most is how the groceries you need are categorized- making it quicker to shop at the grocery store (my list of groceries is usually unorganized and I spend too much time going in circles around the grocery store because I:ll stop by the meat section, then not realize that I should have picked up a second item there until later on in my list). Thanks!
February 23rd, 2009 at 11:31 AM
Snagging the 2nd version, looks to be fantastic! Love the idea of shopping list and meal plan on one page. Saves a lot of time/effort.
February 24th, 2009 at 3:02 PM
Love these! I just started doing weekly meal plans myself. This is a very handy tool. I’ll be linking to this page from my site. Thanks! -Amy

I love this! Just sat down to try to make one up myself because the one I was using wasn’t really working out well. The one with the list is Perfect!!
Thank You so much for sharing. I do have a question though….is there a way for us to print on this? I’m challenged in that area, so thought I’d ask. I am able to save and print blank, but would love to type in my menus and print and save in order to be able to have a record of them With the list right there with it. That way you see right off the bat what you need for those meals.
Thanks Again!!

June 17th, 2010 at 7:18 PM
Thank you for the free form! I can’t wait to start using it. One of my wellness goals is to plan meals for one week and see how it works for us. We are empty nesters and it is so easy to jump in the car and go out to eat, however, we are tired of eating out (and our pocket books are hurting as well). I want to start eating healthier and hopefully plan lower calorie meals so I can drop some weight.
June 27th, 2010 at 4:42 PM
I really like it! The only thing I would change is to list the groceries for each day rather than by type. So I would head it Sunday, Monday and so one so I know the groceries needed per day. Thanks for your time and work!!!!
