Menu Planning Form – Free Download

Here is a menu planning form that I use when I’m planning out my menu for the week. The top half has a weekly calender with space for Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner Menus. It also has space at the bottom to list all the ingredients that you need to get at the store. A pretty simple and straightforward menu planner that also looks great on your fridge or magnet board!

I also have a slightly different version of the form that does not have the meals for each day broken up.

I am SO using this! It’s BRILLIANT!

  2. sillylittlepea

Thanks so much!! I printed this and it now resides in my Menu Planning binder. I think it’s brilliant that you have the daily schedule PLUS the grocery list right there!! No more double listing for me!!! Thanks again!!!

  3. Jaime

I just recently started to meal plan and this sheet is just what I need! I love how the shopping list is on the same sheet and organized into categories. I usually just make some random list and then it’s hard to follow when I’m actually doing my grocery shopping. Kudos and keep the creativity coming!

  4. admin

  21. Veggiemomof2

I downloaded the 2nd picture for my menu planner because I do the same set-up weekly, on blank paper! Now the kids can look on the list & see if that can of pineapple they are about to open is specifically for a meal later in the week! :)

  22. Christina

Thank you so much! This will come in handy and it scores extra points for looking great!

  23. Christina

    These are ADORABLE!! Thank you!

  24. Kristen H.

I’m excited to try this for the upcomming week. What I like most is how the groceries you need are categorized- making it quicker to shop at the grocery store (my list of groceries is usually unorganized and I spend too much time going in circles around the grocery store because I:ll stop by the meat section, then not realize that I should have picked up a second item there until later on in my list). Thanks!

  25. Jenn

Snagging the 2nd version, looks to be fantastic! Love the idea of shopping list and meal plan on one page. Saves a lot of time/effort.

Love these planners and just uploaded version #2. Thanks for helping me out. I usually just make a list next to my meals on scrap paper, but often I wind up tossing it without realizing, thinking it was trash.

I love this! I use the ‘grocery list’ as an inventory of what I already have so it makes it easy to plan a menu. Then I use the list I keep on the refrigerator and add the things I need to buy. Very cute.

  251. Janell

I love this! Just sat down to try to make one up myself because the one I was using wasn’t really working out well. The one with the list is Perfect!!
Thank You so much for sharing. I do have a question though….is there a way for us to print on this? I’m challenged in that area, so thought I’d ask. I am able to save and print blank, but would love to type in my menus and print and save in order to be able to have a record of them With the list right there with it. That way you see right off the bat what you need for those meals.
    Thanks Again!!

Thanks for the meal planner! I really like that the 3 meals are broken down – with school age kids it helps me keep track of which days they’re buying vs. bringing lunch (and to have lunch fixings on hand). And it helps me remember to have breakfast items in the house!

  303. Renee

Thank you for the free form! I can’t wait to start using it. One of my wellness goals is to plan meals for one week and see how it works for us. We are empty nesters and it is so easy to jump in the car and go out to eat, however, we are tired of eating out (and our pocket books are hurting as well). I want to start eating healthier and hopefully plan lower calorie meals so I can drop some weight.

  304. Jennifer

I really like it! The only thing I would change is to list the groceries for each day rather than by type. So I would head it Sunday, Monday and so one so I know the groceries needed per day. Thanks for your time and work!!!!
